Agency & Consultancy: I work with Seven Hills, Seven, cxpartners, NewsCred, OC&C, Progressive Content, Raconteur, Nutcracker Agency, European Business Awards and Streetbees.

Employment & writing for young people: Contracted by cxpartners to work with Public Health England on the overhaul of Talk To Frank – the government’s flagship drugs information service aimed at 11-19s. This involved establishing tone of voice, updating and rewriting content, adopting UX best practice and product development. Other clients in this sector include: RiseTo, YouRock.Jobs, Whatuni.com and Hotcourses.com.

Financial services & business writing: Since 2016 I have produced dozens of case studies for the London Stock Exchange Group’s '1000 Companies to Inspire Europe' annual report. I’ve also co-authored the European Business Awards' Winning Businesses annual case study book since 2015. Other clients include NatWest, HSBC, Grant Thornton, finnCap, ICAEW, iowca, Ayming, CityJobs and FS Focus.

Social enterprise: In 2017/18 I interviewed and profiled 30+ social entrepreneurs on behalf of the School for Social Entrepreneurs. Other clients in this sector include ShelfTaught. 

HR & career advice: From 2015 to 2018 I covered market trends and career advice for Jobsite and its sister site, CityJobs. Working with SEO strategists, I produced authentic, traffic generating blog posts rich in targeted phrases.

Food & Drink: Feature writing for Vice Munchies, blogging for Abergavenny Food Festival.

> Current affairs: From 2015 to 2017 I covered breaking news for The Times, and wrote features for Vice Broadly, Quartz India and the BBC. 

OTHER PROJECTS

Ethical fashion: I founded Shakt+Mary in 2017 after falling in love with handloom fabrics like ikat and blockprint. As a longtime supporter of fair fashion, I run the small scale production of ethically produced womenswear. 

Events: While living in Delhi (2015 to 2017) Ico-founded Magnetic Words: a storytelling stage for India’s most progressive music festival, Magnetic Fields. Speakers included Raghu Karnad, William Dalrymple and Janice Pariat. I’ve also hosted business award ceremonies, and one other literary stage, with Adam Curtis as headline speaker.

Volunteering: As a volunteer visitor for Independent Age I visit an elderly man every Tuesday to play cards and converse. I’ve previously volunteered for Women for Refugee Women.

Government- and industry-backed social enterprise (CIC) with a mission to reduce youth unemployment. Sponsors included Barclays, Waitrose, McDonald's, Capgemini, Centrica, Universal and Deloitte.

Took on a four-week contract to help deliver a new careers platform. Played an instrumental part in delivering the site on time and to brief, resulting in a permanent job offer of deputy editor, which I accepted. I was later promoted to editor.
